The Reg Collen Cup Cometh (soon)

25th April 2014

On the evening of May 6th two teams of children will battle it out at Soham Town Rangers ground for the honour of bringing the Reg Collen trophy back to their school.  The Weatheralls(Holders) and St Andrews will have mixed teams are made up of year 6 and year 5 pupils.

This is an annual and local traditional event played out each year in memory of Reg Collen who played for Soham Town Rangers but sadly died at a young age.  The match is played ona  full size pitch which makes it very special for all the children involved, and it is very well supported (Very loudly) By past players and students .

It is always a nail biting game and great to be part of it just by being there.  So if you have a couple of hours free that evening it would be fantastic to see/hear you there cheering on your school.

Kick off is at 6pm and the game lasts about 1 hour with presentations of medals and, of course, the trophy after.  We wish both teams all the very best and we know they will do their best.
