Parent Forum

The Parent Forum was set up in 2013 and consists of parents from each year group throughout the school, together with parents from specific groups, for example children with extra needs and EFL, and parent governors.

The main aim of the Parent Forum is to ensure the voice of parents is listened to and heard by the Governing Body and the School Leadership Team. It also aims to support the school in communicating effectively with parents and to encourage parents to participate fully in the life and work of the school.

The Forum members meets at least every half term to discuss and prepare an agenda for the half termly meeting with a member of the Senior Leadership Team. A termly newsletter is issued to all parents to update them of topics discussed. A yearly meeting with the Governing Body is also planned to update them of the year’s progress.

If you would like to join or have specific items for discussion, or comments to make, then the Parent Forum can be contacted in writing through the School Office or the suggestion box in the school reception or by email via the School Website.
