The Fitzwilliam Museum & University of Cambridge Museums

The Weatheralls Primary School, as part of the Staploe Education Trust, is delighted to be working in partnership with the Museums of Cambridge University, which include The Fitzwilliam Museum. 

This partnership provides some exciting opportunities for our children to look closely and understand more about specially chosen objects, on display in the Museums, which are related to the topics they are learning in class.  Museum experts are working with our teachers to help all our children gain new knowledge and to be really confident when talking about objects.  No one knows everything about these sometimes quite old objects and so questions and ideas are strongly encouraged!
